Habitat For Humanity Holding Information Session Tonight

Habitat For Humanity's Bountiful Building Period Continues

It's been a busy season for Brandon's Chapter of Habitat for Humanity with at least eight projects committed through to the end of 2023 which is twice the usual amount in such a time span. As the organization maintains its busiest building period ever in Brandon, they are holding an information session to let those aspiring to become homeowners know more about the process.

Founded in 1976, Habitat For Humanity is designed to provide affordable housing. Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Homes are built using volunteer labour and Habitat makes no profit on the sales.

For those interested in finding out how the Habitat for Humanity Homeownership program works, an information session will be held at 7 pm tonight (July 13th) at Knox United Church. Attendees will learn how more about the program, and how to apply. If you have any questions, contact Bonnie Mills Community Engagement Manager directly at  bmills@habitat.mb.ca

How to volunteer on a build site

Our Habitat homes are truly the homes that love built. They’re constructed almost entirely by caring volunteers, with the support of dedicated, skilled Habitat for Humanity Manitoba staff. It takes many caring hands to build a Habitat home.

Whether you’re a contractor or have never picked up a hammer in your life, we can use your help!
