Brandon Summer Fair Tickets on Sale Monday

Tickets to enjoy fantastic food, family fun, unforgettable entertainment and the thrill of the midway at the 2023 Manitoba Summer Fair will soon be on sale.

 

This year’s Fair, which is a presentation of Heritage Co-op, will be held from Wednesday, June 7th to Sunday, June 11th and the Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba has announced that the Pay One Price (POP) will go on sale Monday, May 1st online at https://lnkd.in/gxKbA9Gg as well as both the Brandon and Minnedosa Food Stores.

 

The POP tickets cover gate admission and a full day of midway rides and will be available online and at Heritage Co-op for a special price of $46 until noon, June 7th, which represents a significant saving if purchased at the Fair. Also available online (until Tuesday, June 6th at midnight) will be “free” children’s general admission passes, courtesy of Heritage Co-op.

 

General admission tickets at the gate this year will be $12 (includes ticket fee) for adults and $8 for children (12 and under).

 

“This year’s Fair promises to be one of the best ever,” says Manitoba Summer Fair Chair Tim Rowan. “It’s always a great time to get out….hit the midway….the food and the fun.”

 

In addition to the Midway, which will feature several new and exciting rides such as X-Drive, the Wave Swinger and Tea Cups (Kiddieland), this year’s Fair will include a Kids Entertainment Stage, featuring a variety of attractions – from Doodles the clown to magic shows and D. VonHouligan’s Circus Show. As well, the Keystone Centre’s Manitoba Room will see the return of the Summer Saloon.

 

The Saloon will feature everything from games and arm wrestling to local bands and more.

 

“Having the opportunity to bring back the Summer Saloon is exciting for all of us,” Rowan added.. “The Fair is a great way for Western Manitoba to officially kick off Summer.”

 

Highlighting this year’s Saloon entertainment will be a Tribute to Patsy Cline on Friday, June 9th and Saskatchewan recording artist The Bromantics on Saturday, June 10th. More details on a full week of entertainment will be announced in the coming days.

 

Horse shows, wagon rides and Breakfast Under the Dome, scheduled for Sunday, June 11th, have also been added to this year’s schedule of events while Thursday, June 8th from 1-3pm will see a return of the annual Westman Disability Day, where people who experience intellectual or physical disabilities can enter the grounds at no charge. In addition to enjoying the midway, these young people will have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch, provided by Heritage Co-op.

The Manitoba Summer Fair has been a social gathering in Western Manitoba for over 130 years.
